Dr. Robert Hamilton

Robert C. Hamilton, M.D., F.A.A.P.,. has been in practice in Santa Monica for the past 37 years. He earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from University of California, Davis and from there he came to UCLA for medical school and pediatric residency. He remained for an additional year and served as Chief Resident for one year before going into private practice in Santa Monica.

After 12 years of practice with Santa Monica Pediatric Group, Dr. Hamilton ventured off to form his own practice, Pacific Ocean Pediatrics, in the fall of 1996. He has hospital privileges at Providence-St. John's Health Center and UCLA-Santa Monica Medical Center. In addition to Dr. Hamilton's practice, he has also been active in overseas humanitarian medical missions. In 1998 he founded Lighthouse Medical Missions and leads medical mission teams to both Africa and Central America every year.

Dr. Hamilton and his wife Leslie are the proud parents of six children and ten grandchildren. For leisure, Dr. Hamilton enjoys biking, reading, and playing at the park with his grandkids. He also has an eclectic taste for all kinds of music and enjoys working on the board of the Santa Monica Symphony with his daughter Sarah.

Dr. Noel Salyer

Noël H. Salyer, M.D., F.A.A.P., was raised in Santa Monica, California, and is the first of four daughters born to Leslie and Robert Hamilton. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychobiology from University of California, Los Angeles and then completed her medical degree at University of California, Davis. She did her internship and pediatric residency at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University. After eight years in Northern California, she moved back to Santa Monica and in 2010 joined us here at the pediatric practice her father founded in 1996. Dr. Salyer and Dr. Bob are our dynamic daughter-dad, doctor duo. Dr. Salyer holds staff privileges at Providence-St. John's Health Center and UCLA-Santa Monica Medical Center.  

She lives in Culver City with her husband, Kyle, and their three children.

Dr. Lily Marouf

Lily M. Marouf, M.D., F.A.A.P., grew up in Los Angeles, California. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology at the University of California, San Diego and then completed her medical degree at Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. She then completed her pediatric residency training at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York. Prior to joining Pacific Ocean Pediatrics, she worked as an inpatient pediatric hospitalist and Clinical Instructor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and served as an Assistant Professor at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, training pediatric residents rotating through Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.  Dr. Marouf holds staff privileges at Providence-St. John's Health Center, and UCLA-Santa Monica Medical Center.

 She lives in Brentwood with her husband, Yoav, and her three children.

Dr. Karina Eastman

Karina Eastman, M.D., F.A.A.P. grew up in Houston, TX, but her family has since relocated to the Los Angeles area. She received her bachelor's degree in biology at the age of 18 from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia. After college, she worked at UCLA in human genetics research and then as a molecular biologist for a biotechnology company in Santa Monica. Dr. Eastman returned to school in 2010 to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a pediatrician and earned her medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Eager to return to the west coast and her family, Dr. Eastman came back to Los Angeles to complete her pediatric residency training at UCLA. Prior to joining us at Pacific Ocean Pediatrics she built a successful new practice in Playa Vista working under the Cedars Sinai umbrella. Dr. Eastman helps patients and families create a healthy foundation for lifelong health and wellness and is excited to bring her practice to the Santa Monica community. Dr. Eastman is also certified in homeopathic medicine.

She has privileges at Providence-St. John's Medical Center.

Dr. Eastman lives in Los Angeles with her family, 2 dogs and a cat. She enjoys photography, running with her dogs, movie nights and traveling.

Dr. Dennis Woo

Dennis Woo, M.D., F.A.A.P., is a Los Angeles native, as well. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s of Science in Genetics. He then received his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed his pediatric internship at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and residency at Harbor General Hospital. Dr. Woo is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UCLA, where he has trained many of our local pediatricians over the years. He was also the lead doctor at UCLA Health Santa Monica Pediatrics for many years, as well as the former Chair of Pediatrics at both Providence St. John’s Health Center and UCLA-Santa Monica Hospital. Dr. Woo has published extensively on pediatrics and is one of the most respected pediatricians on the Westside. We are absolutely delighted to have his expertise, experience, and loveable nature at our practice.

Dr. Woo lives in Sherman Oaks with his wife, and is a proud father and grandfather.
